A small market town on the A11, Thetford is very handy for Norwich and the East, and Premier Inn Hotel Thetford puts everything in easy reach. From Norman castles to Newmarket Racecourse, there's plenty to see nearby, and some key business venues too. The outdoor scenes for Dad's Army were filmed in Thetford, and the Dad's Army Museum is well worth a visit while you're here. Or if you want to see a chart-topper, there are some great gigs at High Lodge Forest nearby.
